Exhaust from smoke stack

Question 1. I recently serviced a carrier with 100 plus trailers. They asked me to remove the black spot on the trailer right behind the smoke stack. After using some aluminum bright on them , I notice that some were not coming clean. Is there such a chemical that removes exhaust smoke from white trailers?

Question 2. Where can I purchase a trigger gun that switches chemicals at the gun.

Answer #1,do a search on the board on stack smoke, alot of info.
Aluminum brighter and a fleet soap with a little bushing should take it off.In alot of cases Aluminum brighter and fallowed with a good fleet soap will remove stack smoke without brushing.A strong A. B. mix can and will remove paint,be careful,a degreaser type fleet soap can and will remove paint,be careful. When mixing up a soap mix just for brushing bad stack smoke one should be careful.I've seen/meet trailers out on the raod with bare spots on the front.

Answer #2,call easy clean systems and talk to mark,he is on the board.

If your not two stepping then as tracy said you"ll need a degreaser and hot water helps. As for the switching chems at the gun I couldn't find anything I liked so I built one out of a remote car door opener.

A lot depends on the paint on the trailers. If it has been burned into the paint, the paint becomes porous (usually older trailers) and a lot of times even brushing won't take it off. Usually a good two step does a good job of cleaning this on its own which is what I do and it works very well, but it sounds like you've tried to do that. Be careful with butyl. I've tried that and the smell it emitted once it was atomized thru a spray tip under pressure left me with a migraine headache and I vowed I would never use it again. Must have been my body's way of telling me it wasn't good for me.

Are you looking to two step clean where you would have your two different chemicals and a fresh water rinse? And if so, have you already looked at the Bioclean System?
