First House Job

Hi!

I may be doing my first pressure washing job soon: a 10-15 yr old house getting ready for market. I'd be doing the composite roof, gutters, walls (mainly light colored brick), concrete exp. ag. walks and patio and the garage floor.

What chemicals, temps, methods would you use for each area?

Thanks,
Dan

Dan, ron is right, you should do a search on the board first if you know how. this way you will find various ways it is done. we all do it differently and sware by what we use. once you find the many ways it'll be up to you to decide.

i will ask this. are you doing this for an agent or friend? if so, if this is your first job and you don't get it right, you have lost a friend or a potential lucrative customer before you even get started. be sure you read all the posts on house washing. they will tell you what to look out for, windows, doors, caulking, etc.

also,, be darn sure you have insurance before you get started. its hard to find someone to insure a pressure washer business at a reasonable price.

you can do this. i dare say 50% or more of us started the same way. not knowing squat.

good luck,

ps: knowing how to price your jobs makes the tough jobs more satisfying. do quality work and initially, you'll make the same but work less and eventually you'll get more work!
