poll on how many days a week do you average working? We are considering going full time as many people are and wanted to get an idea of what others are doing. Yes I know if you want the BIG

It all depends on how much you wnat to make, etc. I work 3-4 days a week and seem to be doing okay, I could survive just on what I make on Saturday, but I like the other stuff for the nicer things in life. I just seem to want to get more nice things.

We work 7 nights a week and 5 days a week,
and yes with proper time and people managment a 2 man crew can do very well, when I first started I worked 4 days a week 6 hrs a day and grossed more in 1 year than what most people made in 2 1/2 yrs, that was 7 years ago so most definetley yes!!

Hi! My husband and I started our biz about 1.5 years ago. After about 6 months I quit my full time job with the State of TN to help out. Just the two of us. We work 3-5 days a week, mostly during the week. We have a small account that takes about 3 hours every other Saturday. After expenses we make anywhere from $500 to $2000 a week. Usually around $600. We won't get rich at this rate but we enjoy our time off!(Today it is raining. Day off!!!) We are a debt free company which really helps alot. Good luck if you decide to take the plunge!

WORK ALL THE TIME??? If you are a owner, then you work all the time. Guess I do,?? Coffee shop time, supplier bs time, putt’s with equipment time, get crew ready time, call on customers time, meet with competitors time, bragging time with other business owners time. make sales calls time, do proposals time, pay bills time, computer BBS time. I only go out on the job when I want to, even with the crew. I enjoy the sales calling, the PR. Physical work with crew or "free bee’s" 20 hr’s per month. Gross this month (May) estimated $8,000.00. Could never go back to a hrly job

Dennis , I started in 98 , loved it made 700.00 in two days by myself. loved dealing with the customers etc. I have an entrepenurs spirit I guess , my wife quit work after our first baby girl and I knew things was going to get tight so thank God for this business I borrowed 6,000 dollars from a friend and open a checking account for the bus. with 14.00 they ordered my checks that left me 2.00 and I was off and going . I work full time at Square D company and like them real well and they seem to promote me here and there. my first full year washing I grossed over 15,000 that plus my 50,000 square d job seems to cover my business goals and square d pays for all my benefits child bearing & retirement etc.

I don't have any business people in my family to learn from they all work for someone else and so I guess Square D is my Crutch ?????

oh yea I do realize to an extent what it takes to run a business so I am not a low baller in pricing ,hurting the full time man or women I am usally higher because I guess I have my crutch .

I pray that you and gloria will have the wisdom to make a good decision
