Got a call today about a 12' wide by 40' high silo which needs to be cleaned inside and out. It has a complete roof with two access holes one at the bottom and one the top. There are three silos in total. The silos are not for grain but rather for plastic pellets for injection mould systems.

Any one ever had the pleasure in cleaning one??

The best way I can come up with is with a water broom on a pully system using 4-5 0deg turbo nozels. Running guide wires from top to bottom. Have to submit a plan and price by Fri.

Thanks

Would a sewer jet nozzle work? Just a thought since, as I recall, they spray 360*. Otherwise, the interior should not actually be dirty, just covered with electrostatically charged particles of plastic (I used to work at a plant that had small silos of pellets - plastic and wax.) that should be able to be rinsed from the top down using a "shooter" tip. The outside may need a lift. Hard to tell without pics.
