Start simple. Hook up the inlet to the garden hose and pull the trigger. Remove the tip from the wand to prevent the small hole in plugging up. Do this untill the water runs clear. Next flip the switch for the pressure washer to run. I am assuming the unit is electric over diesel. Get the pump running and pull the trigger still with the tip removed.

Now lets make some hot water. Make sure the tank for the hot water unit has some stove oil/diesel in it. Flip the switch and move the thermostat to about 150deg or so. Pull the trigger and let the water run. The steamer should fire up. Repeat untill the machine runs good. If you have any questions give me an e mail. (goes directly to blackberry for quick response)

good luck

thanks for ur reply, thing is i dont have a thermostat control nob at least not one i can see from the outside of the machine i pluged it in and seems to work fine just that water temp goes to 400 f and never seems to come down from there , makes a hell of a lot of noise (dont know if this is normal) when steam is coming out, kind of like a lil jet engine, aparently water flow is not enough wich is no problem ill fix that im more worried about the temp thing and trying to know if burner should cut out at some point. how safe are these to work with???

thanks.

The fact of flow will make the steam super heated and make the noise you are talking about. Insure you are getting the proper GPM out of the machine before putting the heat on again. By the look of the unit there might be limited safeties on the machine. More less it is off or on at 100% power.

Most important insist that the output hose is in perfect working condition. 400 deg f is an super high temp. My self I would be adding a pressure switch and a thermostst to the beast. This will make the unit safer and more versitile.

PS nice mega cab, got the 6.7 or the 5.9?? Got to love commercial white!!
