There is water in the oil of my power washer pump. There is also so water leaking between the head and the block of the pump.
I know that there are two plungers cracked, however I believe there is also a seal problem. From the times before that I have worked on a pump head (different pump, not this one), the brass retaining rings always popped out and you could get the seals out easily. This time on this pump, the brass retainers seem to be stuck.
What would be you guys suggestions to get the retainers out so I can replace the seals?
The pump is an AR SXMV 4G40 direct drive 3400rpm unit. 4000psi 4gpm.
