Just a note to let you know I have pledged to reduce my use of gasoline by at least 3%. I ask that you consider the negative financial impact your prices are having on America's families, and that you take immediate steps to reduce the price. I am not opposed to your making a profit, but I am opposed to your making what many feel are obscene profits."

I'd like to add...please boycott Exxon and Mobil stations.

Any company that makes 8+Billion in one quarter is gauging us consumers.

Boycotting Doesnt Work

Boycotting doesnt work. Let's say that everyone chose to boycott Exxon and started using BP. BP would quickly run out of gas and need more and Exxon would just sell gasoline to them and BP could easily increase their prices.

I'm with UPCC. Boycotts don't work. Just ask the million or so Mexicans who demonstrated recently. They accomplished NOTHING.

It is not a boycott, it is using less of their product. as far as boycotts not working phoey! they work often, but won't in this case. also the percent of profit is not comprable to a service industry. so asking if you could live off 9% profit is apples and oranges. more like apples and Cheeze Whiz
