hi Beth,

I have read several of your posts in which you seem to be very pleased with the HD-80 product. I was wondering, have you tried it on Solid color stains??? in some of your posts, i understood that maybe you had, but i am unsure. I have access to strippers that will remove any type of semi-stain finish, but have yet to come across something to take off the solid stain(at a reasonable price). If this product does work on the solids, does that mean that it just works on the floors, or will it strip the underside of boards that recieve no abuse or weather?? Thanks in advance for your response, hope y'all are having a great year in business and life, thanks!!

take care,

Rod says that it does work on the solids very well, and he has not come across something it will NOT take off. He said to tell you that for the undersides of the rails and areas that get less sun, put it on there first and let it sit, then more to the other areas. Remove it last. Then, depending on how it looks you may need to hit it twice on those areas. Depends on sunlight and age of the stain.

You should try the stuff. We don't use anything else anymore to strip.

Beth ;)
