This may not be the right forum to post this but I am hoping The "Wiz" can point me in the right direction.I want to make a pressure washer strictly for deck cleaning...I was thinking a belt drive 2000 psi, 5 gpm, general pump/honda gx.I looked everywhere for this configuration and cannot find it.any suggestions?

JR,
If this is for your own personal use then its not a bad Idea because it has to be cheaper to build then using the standard 3000psi at 5gal/min. and the Wiz is definitely the one to speak to. If this is something you want to build for resale then I don't think its a good Idea because most people would want a powerwasher that can handle most kinds of cleanings and 3000psi at 5gal/min seems to be the answer. But then again I could be wrong here because people in the industry know that the right chemicals are as important if not more important to clean with then the powerwasher they use and maybe your Idea could fly because it would be cheaper. To me though the magic #'s are 3000@5g/m. Good Luck -John-

Here is the best one you can make for your money.
Honda 11hp Engine.
TS2021 General Pump.
9 inch Pump pulley 24mm bore for 2 B Belts
3 1/2 inch motor pulley. 1 inch bore for 2 B belts
The reason I say TS2021 is for later use if you want a bigger washer you can use the same pump with different pulleys and a larger engine to get the rated specs for this size pump.
We are slowing the pump down to get the desired gpm and psi for the Honda 11hp.
You will also need an Unloader and fittings.
