Mark, business as been phenomenal. Doing mostly residential but also starting to mix in some commercial and hope to really grow that. All of our business comes from our web site, referrals and repeats. We also get a few from Angie's List

How business for you?

Business has been incredible compared to this time last year. It has mostly been residential and multi-units, but I am also working on some larger jobs. The only area that isn't working out is wood restoration. My prices are high compared to most, but it may be a blessing in disguise. I'm struggling to keep up because I am still teaching full-time, and I'm a solo operation. It will soon be time to hire someone.

Most of the jobs are coming from my website, a postcard campaign and a small amount of referrals from last year. The big difference this year from last year is the website. Last year I had a self-made website that didn't rank at all. Mid 2012 I had a local professional develop and manage a website. It now ranks #1 for almost all keywords for my service areas. The website has been my best investment thus far!

Jason. Who did your web site

A local guy, Falcone Web Design. There are a few items I want to change with the website because I think it could convert to more leads than it does already. My contract ends this June 1, and I am thinking about changing to Anya at Ambidextrous. What do you think about the website? I really want honest feedback to it can be the best it possibly can be.

If I do switch, it will most likely be this Fall/Winter when things slow down so my seo doesn't take a hit during the busy season.
