also

The best one i ever saw was.
" you will recieve an offical portrait of GEORGE WASHINGTON printed by the US goverment carfully matted on a white backround suitable for framing" only $5
You would get a 5 cent stamp of george washington stuck to a 3x5 index card.
Mister BAILEY from the old side show days had no problem getting people into the tents to see his attractions but people would stay far too long inside. So he put up a sign on top of a door that said "see the egress" now that was the king.

That product was born from one of those infomercials...Brad Richdale or Don LaPre or one of those it is featured as a testimonial for fax advertising which we now know is illegal. It is just a chemical injector. We all know you can't clean a house with just a chemical injector.I posted about this product 4 or 5 years ago and larry hinkley from another board pointed out that it looked strikingly like an injector they sell. And it does!!!

Oh yeah and they said they were making $10,000 per month selling it or some ridiculous amount.Yeah sure!!!

There are a lot of items like that.If you go to home depot you can buy a house wash tha you attach to a hose and just spray on.Or windex you spray and rinse from the ground.Do these work....NO!!! There is a fine line between false advertising, consumer deception and just plain being ripped off! These companies seem to have found the line and stayed on the legal side.It comes down to pure stupidity, laziness and wishful thinking that keeps these products on the market.

I guess there is nothing that can be done about this type of deception, but it sure is pitiful to know that people are getting taken in by this.

I wonder if we could get Dan to make a section on this board like "To good to be true Sites" warning our visitors.
I know most people can see the deception, but there are those who get pulled in before they realize it.

This is my favorite line:

It takes any cleaning solution and injects it into your garden hose at EXACTLY the right strength to do the job, yet keep products safe to use around the house.

WOW.....it is a miracle........it automatically injects EXACTLY the right strength..........I must have one!!!

Silly me spent thousands of dollars on pw equipment! lol

W.C. Fields said it best:

There is a sucker born every minute!

Worst is these suckers waste more of their money on this worthless junk, then call us to undo what they messed up and bitch about our price to do it right.

And NO bigboy, ya ain't gonna peek into my tool box.

Metric, hey man I have enough trouble telling one size from another as it is, and I cannot count how many times I have striped things with the wrong sockets.

I am one of those that take a handful of tools to try till I get the right one.

Besides I hate metric, will never agree to change over and that goes for the bucks too and weight too.

But then as Tony said I do have them, yes we need them if we are to do a proper repair job.

Now for a laugh come watch me try doing that.

i know you run a 13 hp cold water belt drive machine[i dont so i dont know] can you get high pressure soap out of that machine? Seams like you could with this gizmo. Also lots of cheap home depot machines could benift from one of these. Some dawn, truck wash, and pool clorine then a 0 deg. tip drilled out a little, for shooting it on, and you could be washing a lot of mobil homes with only a $500 investment. You could make that back in one weekend.
i could write a book " How to get started in pressure washing with only $500"

All it is,is an upstream chemical injector. It can be obtained anywhere you get pressure washer supplies.I bet if you ask you can even get it at home depot.
I find you get better results not even using a pressure washer to apply chemicals.
Also why drill a zero tip,you can buy a a hose barb(smallest one I could find) with a 1/4 inch thread that works great with a 5 gpm machine. If you get the next size up, your downstream will work.
