I first thought the bbs was having less activity. I think the way Dan has laid the board out is real great. I love the look of this bbs compared to others I have been too. The mix of guys is magical the information is wonderful.

All the fighting can be healthy if it is done in a professional manner. Name-calling is childish, this would probably mean that your IQ is not higher than your age. That’s ok because this will show everyone your stripes and people can see you for who you really are. Don’t get me wrong, on occasion I have lost my temper from time to time. I know it’s not worth it and I looks foolish. I can be sarcastic at times and probably need to control that as well.

The bbs for me is and outlet to meet folks in my field and have pleasant stimulating conversations. I will always disagree with others because many of us are very different people. We run our businesses differently and we all live in different circumstances. The types of things we do will also differ from everyone else. Does this mean I believe you are running your business wrong? No just different, maybe better. I mean that’s what we are doing here right, to make sure we are improving our methods.

What I want from the board, to make friends with others guy & gals that want to improve their business & make more money.

As far as 2001 goes, I want to get a calendar together to help me reach all my goals this year. I want a web site with a customer area for photo and demo video and stills. I want to get two more sales people, increase my residential market. Get my new construction market built up a little stronger and increase the amount of strip centers. Expand within my customer base, taking customer to there full potential.

I need to order a copy of Scott’s issue of cleaner times. Become more involved with trade and other types of organizations. Do more charity work than I have ever done. Like to try advertising in the newspaper (never have done that one). I really want to go to the pwna meeting in Orlando. It’s not looking good right now. I may not make it to the show at all. I was looking forward to meeting with some of the folks that sent me e-mail and told me they where going. I still have about three weeks lets see what I can do.

In closing, I don’t hate anyone on this bbs just disagree. I don’t know any of you well enough to hate you. I will try to do my best to get along.

I think that the wiz is one of the most important folks on this board. I have noticed that he has not been around and that’s a shame. Each and every person is important to the bbs. We all can learn many things and have many different talents. Some of us are watchers and that’s ok too. One day you will respond with and answer or another question.

Craig,

You made a post about visitors a while back and it sparked a couple of them to join that’s great.

Jon,

Your corny sometimes but you’re a nice guy and I hope one of these days we can meet.

Scott,

We live by each other but we are both to darn busy to meet. I don’t hate you because your house is bigger and better, we can still be friends.

Mike,

Sent me a great site and always says hello when I’m online. Thanks for that site mike.

Dan Flynn,

Thanks for not kicking me off earlier in last year when I was a pain in you’re a_ _.

Dan s.

I still think you’re a follower but that’s not a bad thing. Just kidding Dan ,your easily riled up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two guys,

I like your attitude don’t agree with the 20.00 and hour thing, hey if it works for you that’s great.

Shirley,

I like the things you say as well and really never disagree. You’re a women I couldn’t win any way.

Shirley’s husband Jim ,

Like Jon said you typing may be worse than mine.

Tony ell,

Welcome to the board.

Bigboy,

Well, your riddles speak for themselves, I know you’re a good guy. Glad to be associated.

Rick, tom, purepower, Cody, JR, les, spraymasters and everyone else thanks for making my post interesting. I really enjoy everything that you guys added to my last post and really gained a lot from it.

Tony told us about himself so I think I will do the same.

I have been married 13 yr. have three children, son 12, girl 11 & son 7. I have lived in the valley since 1976 on and off.

I have owned a property management company for about 17 years. Started it when I was going to college to make extra money. I also started doing pressure washing on my own properties about the same time. I have struggled to make the pressure washing business become what I want. Yes I’m successful by the standards we have now. We won’t get into that again. I would like to make this a nation wide operation. I know that’s a big dream but I think it can happen. I’m presently in other city’s, my next city will be Las Vegas, hopefully in June.

Today I still run both businesses and along then way I have run many different businesses. I started the franchise operation mailboxes express here in Arizona. Scott probably has ship something from one of my locations. Sold the last store over ten years ago. The store close to Scott would be Greenfield & main or Gilbert and baseline.(just in case Scott’s been there) Only one of twenty-two locations failed. I have owned a jewelry store in Tempe Arizona during the recession. I also owned a dry cleaning business in mesa Arizona. The jewelry store I closed and the dry cleaners I sold. I will never own a retail business ever again in my life. A long the way I have built a couple of car washes and a drug store. I never owned them but help a friend build them. I ran and auction business during the recession and will do that again if the economy goes bad. I auction property off during that time period and learned a bunch of information. My property management business was full time until I decided to take this pressure washing business to the next level. That’s a brief biography my business life. I do understand what it takes to run a successful business. I have failed at others a long the way.

My personal life is taking my kids to every activity under the sun. I guess I’m a part time taxi, which I’m sure many of us are.
