Moderator Considerations and Stuff!!!

Hey gang...just wanted to throw this out to you all. As things slow down a tad bit in the pressure washing world due to the Christmas and New Year Holiday season we will most likely be looking at asking some people to help out here on the BBS as a moderator for the 2011 season and forward.

I must first run this by the owner but I know that I will not be able to be on the BBS 24 x 7 directing traffic and etc in 2011. I have some pretty ambitious goals set for next year and will probably need some assistance from some of you to keep things here even 'keeled.

There has been a few recommendations already made to me by some of you and myself and the folks behind PWN will ultimately weigh what is best for the PWN community.

Today we are still looking for an increase in traffic from other contractors so "moderation" has not been an issue whatsoever but based on my experience with BBS's I am certain that with increased visibility and traffic ultimately will result in some "bumps" in the road. This is the nature of the beast.

I would like to thank Ant, Jim, James, Chadd, Welder, Dave O, Ken F and few others for popping in here at PWN and taking an interest in some of the threads and participating. If you know of a contractor that could benefit or could contribute in a positive way here on PWN I would ask you to ask them to come on over. I can only do so much promotion on FaceBook by myself. I don't want to do an overkill on promoting PWN because it will turn individuals off.

Additional forums will also be considered over the next few weeks along with the possibility of reintroducing the Chat Function here.

We will be contacting individuals regarding moderation positions. If you are asked and you can help...GREAT. If not, not a problem....we still want you here.

Over the last couple of weeks I have seen some SOLID threads from some of you and we appreciate some the disclosures you all offered in regards to marketing, washing and equipment tips. Thanks again for your insight.

Cheers!!!!

Thank you Carlos for providing this refreshing change, a place where professionals can network, communicate, share ideas and job leads, all with no strings attached or any of the other nonsense we have all experienced in the past.

I have invited several colleagues who I am proud to not only call my friends, but who also have offered me a wealth of knowledge. They will all be a great asset here on PWN.

Thank you bro but you all are the ones and the reason things are picking up here on a positive note.

As mentioned, I would rather have 10 contractors here discussion important and pertinent topics verses 100 contractors arguing whether or not the sky is blue....we all know the sky is Indigo [bb]

IF we can put the past in the past and lock that key and keep it forever shut then I can help here. This was the only board that ever rejected me for a moderator position. I think I'm good at Moderating and I also feel you can build whatever you want thru the net if its moderated correctly.

So if you need a guy from the dark ages who can spark these boards but not in a drama way then I'm here to serve. If not there is no sweat off of my back. My helping hand is allowed to be rejected.

Good Luck in your search.

Also what goes on this bb stays on this bb. I will not allow fights from here to spill over somewhere else or vice a versa. Its like the vegas line in "Hangover" what happens here stays here or be prepared to be booted[lskjfdjf]

Jim's also from the parking cleaning business & he might be a good find to moderate here if he's asked.

Everyone suggested here could be exceptional in the role as mods. Appreciate the feedback and suggestions.

Let me kick the names up the chain of command (old Navy term) and lets go from there. Until then...let's just keep posting like we have been!!!
