I have heard of Gutter Shock and Zap. Are they the same thing?
Anyway, I used Zap today on 13 year old white gutters. They looked gray. 1 part zap to 2 parts water as directed. I had already cleaned the house with powerhouse and a little bleach mixed earlier in the week.
I'm glad I did not spray it on and let it sit. It did not go as I have read about here. I applied it with a brush and let it sit 3 or 4 and rinsed before it dried. I could barley tell a difference. After a second try It was snot much better.
I had to make it a little stronger and scrub lightly back and forth and rinse immediately. I found if I let it dwell, it just moved around a bit. No I did not let it dry.
I was using a long pole from the ground so down force was not real hard. Anyway they look good now after 4 scrubbings.
I just wanted to report it is not as easy as I have read in other posts here.
