Never In the Right Place

I was going to clean my local Steak n' Shake fast foods place on Monday, but something came up and I couldn't do it. I then see on my local news some black guy robbed it in the early morning hours. Being a retire Deputy I wished I had been there when it went down. I decide to clean that restruant during the early morning hours of Wednesday morning. I finished around 4am and went home. Then on the local news I see that same guy that robbed the place I just cleaned came back at 0530am and robbed them again. Two days apart, talk about the bad luck! I am going to clean the other Steak n' Shake about 6-miles from this one. I don't think I will see the robber there for a few reasons: 1. He was wearing the same clothes which is seen on video. 2. Because he robbed that place again I feel he is probably a homeless guy and will probably rob it again. He has seen how easy it was and he never got even close to getting caught. Now if the local cops are smart they will stake that place out and wait for that guy to return. I will bet he will come back since he feels it is easy pickings. All you guys out there, whether active law Enforcement or retired know what I feel like not being there when that guy came in. By the way when I got there to clean early this morning the staff working stated they were glad I was there because they knew I was a retired Deputy. I feel bad that when I left that is when they got robbed again. Hugh

John this guy has held up the same resturant twice now and they tell me he also went down to Ocala and robbed another one there also. I would have like to get my hands on this guy. Someone will get him, he is very predictable. Hugh

Held it up twice sounds like the Dunkin Donuts in Phila where a policeman Chuck Cassidy was shot and killed by a dirt bag that held up the same store twice. Unfortunately the policeman walked in on the holdup at the wrong time.

I hate hearing things like this. The guy that shot the officer should rot in prison. Too many of you men in blue are getting cut down by people that just don't care what happens to themselves. Hugh

Rotting in prison is to good for them.

Now in reality, if you were there, you may have been a deterrent and he would have come back later. Or he could have snuck up behind you due to the pw noise and got the jump on you. As John said maybe you were in the right place at the right time.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if he was in the area when I was working, waiting for me to leave. I can tell you this, I was totally alert to my surroundings while I was there, so that night I don't think he would have got the jump on me, and I was also packing heat on me and I don't mean Pressure wand. He will get caught, he is the type that will be back again since he feels it is an easy target for money and hasn't even come close to being caught. Hugh
