Me and my wife are in the process of buying a modular house. I was talking to the salesperson about pressure washing the houses on lot and he agreed that they needed doing. My question is--there are four different sites--one has 2 homes one long single story and one 2 story--the second has four models with 3 two storys and one single--the third has about six, not for sure what size--the last one has 14 houses...seven 2 story and 7 single. They are not that bad dirty, just road dirt, dust and a little atmospheric grime. They would not take much to clean, just not for sure about what to charge being that they are new and the bulk number of homes. Each one is about a half hour ride from each other. They are all vinyl. Not going to charge full price, but not certain what to charge??????
Any help appreciated.

Steve just make sure you know what your priceing and expectations are ? is it rinse the dust or detail for first class showing to potential buyers ? But buddy becareful, I would probably fall into the trap of I meet this nice sales guy he is getting me into a home he's my buddy I'll cut him some slack. If he's not making a profit then he loses his job and wage same as you . Make your profit !!!!!
I would price it as if he called me out of the blue .

Shane, I agree with what you are saying. I'm not cutting him slack because he's selling me a house. I'm sure he is going to make plenty of money off me. I'm wanting to discount a little because of--A: There being 28 houses total, both 1 and 2 story.--B: Only minimal effort to clean the dirt off the siding.
I was just thinking that he would feel ripped off when he looks at how long it takes per house compared to the money he is paying.
I feel I can reduce my price and still make a good profit.

Thanks for the reply,

Steve

Hi Steve, Whatever you're charging, if you feel you can reduce your price and still make a profit, follow your heart, especially if it is pretty much a rinse and go and you're looking at a number of houses. You said 'he would feel ripped off when he looks at how long it takes per house compared to the money he is paying'. That small still voice may be guiding you.

Hey, thanks you guys for all your help.

Haven't heard anything out of them yet, I'll probabally talk to my salesperson this week.

Hey Rick, where you been, haven't seen you post in a week or so. Hope you've been busy and got that partnership deal worked out.
