Iam looking to get into fleet washing but, all I have is a cold water p/w. The unit is 13hp 4000psi 4gpm unit is it still feasable for me to do this? Also is there somebody that I could go and watch for a day just to get some idea of what would be involved. Thank You[help]

Are you sure your ready to work weekends, every weekend in both hot and cold temps.Family life want be the same, hired help, some empolyees will start their own washing bussiness.

I've never owned a cold water washer but have washed a few days with cold when burner was down.Hotwater makes it easier in my opin for the bugs and grease to come off faster.Fleet washing isn't for no slow pokes, you'll need a little speed under those heels. But yes you can wash with cold water and your rig is big enough to handle it.

You can wash with cold water for a few more months, then forget it. And even that's pushing it. You've got a few months to save up for a hot water skid that will put out at least 6 GPM. Start pinching those pennies!

Not to mention the 350-2500 gal of water you need to haul around. Swap out the pump to a higher GPM and lower pressure, and save your coin.
