How does that work?

Does it have a suction tubing that runs all the way around the inside of the deck?

How is this model different from the old model?

I have seen the old model in person a few times and it did not pick up all the water, just wondering if they made the changes to improve the water picking up capability or if it is different technology from the old design.

Not trying to bash, just asking questions.

Here is some input from Greg Cross of Hydro Tek:

The redesign offers significant improvements in both the cleaning area and water recovery.

You'll find that the new version includes a 24" cleaning path and has much improved recovery.

We've switched from a slotted rubber skirt to a brush skirt which allows for superior air induction resulting in greater water recovery from our 2-stage electric vacuum systems. As a guess from watching the product in person, I would suggest that water recovery is 90 - 95% with no runoff.
