Norton Ghost 2001

Tony,

I started messing around with Norton Ghost today........does it have to be run from DOS, or can you run it from windows? I am not very fluent in DOS.

It is best to first load the ghost software on your hard drive. Then, using a boot disk, bootup the machine. Change directories to where you placed the software. Then, run the program executable, most likely ghost.exe. It is fairly intuitive, although a couple of the selections could get tricky. One of the first dialog boxes will ask if you want to back up a partition or a disk. Make sure to select the appropriate choice.
