Start 3:30 am to go wash trucks. Drive 1 1/2 hours to the first job site and one of the pressure washers won't start. So I start up the reliable one with the honda engine and start heating it up, with the hot water. Get it started and we go to two seperate yards. About an hour and a half later I get a call on my phone.
"Scott, the pressure washer isn't pumping water."
I ask a few questions and get stupid responses mostly like I waited an hour and a half because I thought that I could fix it. So we test the flow into the machine, yep, it's there, there is flow out of the pump, and the soap injector has flow through it. Everything is hooked up they take the gun off and voila, a chunk of ice came out. My ignitor goes out, oh well, I can wash with cold water. Another hour, A Call,
"Scott, my wand broke."
The dual lance wand broke at the gun. Okay I will give you mine and fix yours. Washing our little hearts out, I head back to town, A CAll,
"Scott, the fan belts broke on the truck. We're 35 miles out of town".
Son of a gun, I hustle up some fan belts at the only Napa store that is open. ( it is a two ton and they are the only ones with a part number for them), Leave the more mechanically inclined of the workers to fix the truck and I take the other to go finish the job. As I am leaving the job I get A CALL.
"Scott, the fan belts broke again, and we are three miles from the yard."
"Dang it I"ll be there in 45 minutes." Get there and one of the tool boxes is bent all to heck.
Scott "What happened???"
Ding a Ling one "I bumped a trailer moving the truck".
So the damage is,
1. An ignitor
2. A dual lance wand and gun
3. 2 sets of fan belts to my two ton
4. A pro-Tech aluminum tool box.
And they wonder how come I don't let them use my truck
