Ok, sorry I haven't been on. I am not charging $500 an hour, I am chrging $500 for the job. I am sorry if I got people worked up, as that was not my intention. As for my investment money, approx. half went to the washer equipment, and half to the truck to pull it. As for my buisiness logic, I found that the pressure washing companies contracts are for the most part yearly contracts meaning that they clean it once a year. My goal for this business is to make more money than them and contracts range from yearly, bi-annually, monthly, and bi-weekly. For example. I clean 10 Burger Kings in the city. The contract I have with them is for 1 year. The way it breaks down is I clean the parking lot once a year, the front entrance and sidewalks bi-monthly, the drive thru twice a year, the grease tank and garbage area twice a month. I bill them after each part of the contract is done for the part I just finished. I find that by letting them decide on what and when they want something done, I give them the feeling of controlling how much they are spending. In short I am making $19,000 for all service provided in one year for 10 stores. The competition made 10,000 for one year. So by charging less and doing aspects of it more frequent I am making more. As for my equipment, I have a 3 in 1 unit made by Jenny Equipment. I have the ability to do cold/hot/steam. So far it is working really well. Hopefully this clears up some of the confussion.
