Ok,,,Gloria told me I had to fess up and tell you what I did. We were cleaning a deck and got almost done. Was a 9 hour cleaning job and about in the 8th hour I ran out of gas for the little washer that we do the decks with. The people we were cleaning the deck for were gone so I looked in the garage. They are friends of ours and didn't think they would mind us borrowing a little gas. Well, picked up the gas can and just put in a little. Twenty seconds later the washer stopped dead....hmmmmm I said. Smelled inside and smelled like gas. Could not get it cranked. The owner came home and told me in his gas can was salt water.

water. You should only use fresh water in your smaller power washer

No Dan,
I think he put it in the gas tank. Dennis, it's a wonder it didn't scar the cylinder walls. I'm surprised you got it running again.
