I have just got a job cleaning a McDonald parking lot
which includes:
The drive thru pad
46 parking spaces with heavy oil build up
Dumpster pad
Side walk on both sides of the store

I have never done a job of this big. So how do i price it,
he own for store so i want to do a good job but i don't want
to screw myself either.
What chemicals should i use. I have a cold water 3000psi
pw, but i can run 150 degree hot water through it with know
problems. Will this be able to do the job, so if i am rambling
i am nervous but excited about the possibities that lay ahead.
I would appreciate any feed back. E-mail me directly please...

Will,
We clean for McDonalds on a monthly baisis, every 3rd month we clean entire parking-lot like you spoke of. We use a soap with sodium hydroxide in it, works great on oil & dirt. You can clean with cold water, but works better with hot water. We have a service agreement with them, the first time cleaning was $800.00 each store. To clean monthly, the price is $250.00 for each store. Asphault only. And every 3rd month $450.00 to clean concrete & asphalt.@2year service agreement.Just an example for what we charge for McDonalds...Hope this helps you!!! GOOD LUCK!!! Rick...R&R.......

Rick I take it that you surface cleaners.
How do you like them and how long does it normally take to do a job like that?
They supply the water right? Thanks Tim

May I ask how you guys lucked out with such a nice account? Who are you dealing with . . . the store manager or the big guys at the corporate office?

We have a lot of residential work, but want to build up some steady accounts to take us through the slow months.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Contact the store manager and find out the Distric Managers name and # contact them offer a free demostration set up an appointment, met them find out how many stores are in his or her distric, sometimes they have as many as 10-30 stores that they over see! Offer them your service some except and some give you the cold sholder! Good luck!!!

In my case i got a hold of list with all of
the businesses in my area and i created a standard letter saying who i am and what i
did. I sent out about 40 letters a week later I got 7 responses including the Mcdonalds gig. So it paid off 4 of the accounts i have landed the other two i am bidding on later.

Hope that Helps
