Pump Questions...........................

Hi I have been looking into getting a new pump and I was wondering the price on some. would like to replace it with the same one. the one I have now is a hawk pump that is 4.5gpm and 4200psi. its on a hotsy rig. and/or a rebuild kit. Thanks!

I would not go with another hawk pump. Granted i've only experienced one hawk pump, but it was probably the worst of all the pumps i've been around. It was even a 1200 RPM model that was "supposed" to last alot longer... i think we got a year out of it. Got about 2 years from a general pump and 4 years on the last pump which was an AR. Needless to say we put another AR pump on when it was time for a new pump.

Its a hawk pump . . .HC930R is the model. .. . Can you give me a price quote on a couple of different brands and repair kits. . . . and is it hard to rebuild a pump. . Ive worked on motors my whole life and to me it doesnt look to bad to do . .. but I was wondering if theres anything to look out for. Thanks!!.
