question about oil

Hello guys !
I have a question if its ok to use cat pump oil in general ts2021.I was going to use napa 30w nondedergent,when i noticed that there is pump oil for sale.Figured must be for a reason and asked a local hotsy dealer to sell me oil for my general pump ,he handed me cat pump oil and said they all the same.Is that true??,i dont want nothing but whats the best for it,should i order some general pump oil??I hope not cause i already put cat oil in and noticed also its completely different color .What do you think is best for me and my pump???

If you want the cheapest thing just get the 30w nondetergent it is the same thing. Just make sure you use the non detergent oil I don't think there is any difference in the oils except the color and price. We have never had a problem with using just 30w non-detergent in ours.

Not sure on the cat pump oil but I believe it is a 30wt non-detergent with cat's own oil additive package. We do not see any cat pumps in this area. I normally use a good quality 20 or 30wt non-detergent oil.
