Quick Quest on x-jets and soap applicators

I own a Dewalt 3750 as my starting off PW. I'm just starting to think about getting into roof cleaning and was looking at ways to apply the detergent/bleach with the DeWalt. Problem is, I can't run it through the pump. I think it's called downstream injection from what I've read in here. Anyways, I've been reading through these boards and heard you guys talking about an X-Jet for applying detergents at high pressure. From what I understand, it connects at the quick connect end of the wand with a siphon hose so the chemicals don't run through the machine at all. Am I correct? So, I was looking round RI for a good pressure washer supply store and didn't find any that knew too much. I went to Home Depot for the Hell of it and found a DeWalt High Pressure Soap Nozzle. It was $20 marked down to $5. But I can't help but notice the huge price difference between that and the X-Jet and like I said I'm pretty much a virgin at this stuff. Anyone familiar with this DeWalt attachment or any other brand in that price range and can you tell me the difference between that and the X-Jet. Thanx in advance for any info. PETE

Also, do those of you who do roof cleaning find it easy and practical to apply chem. with an X=Jet type applicator or should I go ahead and invest in some shurflo pumps and hose reels. I'm trying to keep my costs down until I start making some money to invest in new equipment so if I can do it effectively with my PW, I'm gonna go for it. Thanks again
