Sealing Concrete?

My husband has started pressure washing after months of me reading this board. I love how you all are willing to help and hopefully we will be in that position someday, but for now I have a question. My hubby was washing a garage when a neighbor asked if he washed and sealed driveways. He said he hasn't started that part of his businesses yet. When he got home and told me I said that he shouldn't of said that so he is thinking of when he quotes for the wash maybe he will talk to him about the seal. Anyways my question is how do we quote this? Is it by sq footage or hours? Also is that V-Seal the product to use now a days and is the eaisest way to apply by spray? I have done a search on this but most everything about it seems to be from last year so I was just wondering if everyone still likes it.
Thanx

Is this for residential? V-Seal; I wouldn't waste your money on it. For what? I would say to myself. Get some local product and wash and seal this guy’s driveway every year or two.

I would charge the cost plus how long you think it will take X what you want to make per hour. This on average should be 50 to 100 per hour.

Spray with sealers that are thin and sealers that are thicker I would roll or use a stain pad.

Laura,
With most sealers, you need dry time. Wash the concrete, let dry for 24 to 72 hours, then go back and seal. Sealer also needs dry time, so if it cannot be blocked or rerouted, then a problem arises. I do not do decks, but it sounds the about same.
You may have already known this, but thought that I would let you know, just in case.
