easy.
Do 24 cart's as a demo.
Then check your time, travel, fuel consumption, insurance cost's,any reclaim cost's,how meny day's it take's you to get the check, and add 10% to that for maint cost's.
Then ask yourself "would I pay that price to have them washed?"
If yes, then when you hand in your quote Show the item's ive listed. Dont just give a flip price.
When you show why you need to charge what you charge it's hard to argue the price. That dose'nt mean someone wont beat that price but you need to charge what you need to charge.
If anyone tell's you a price. Great, but it wont do you much good because their cost's and your cost's can be world's apart.
price is not a question. It's a mathmatic problem.
X+X+X+X+X+X=Y
only you know the % of each X.
Also the real money is in repairing the cart's not washing them.
Then you get your foot in the door for the sidewalk's, then the freezer's,then the window's.
Our biggest chain of store's FOODTOWN has just put together their own truck to wash all their store's.
Soon SHOPRITE will follow.
