short cuts /free line with every biz #

I agree with mike, biz line if your business if no biz line your not professional there is no short cuts,our season lasts 8 mnths strong i dont advertise in the paper because you wont pick up 10 to 15 thousand $ jobs.I prefer the advertising that dosent make me a weekend xtra buck kinda guy .Ive got 6 stong months a year to earn,i work 7 days a week and feel the guys that advertise in the local paper dont even have commercial plates never the less a sign just a pick up and some free time and there excuse to the homeowner is THAT DOSENT COME OFF it irritates me no offense to anyone but just had to breathe

you didn't make a whole lot of sense in that last post, so take a deep breath and explain yourself, I advertize in the local paper and consider myself every inch a professional, so whats your point.

I chose to put most of my start up money into my equipment, biz cards ect, and research. Just because I dont have a biz line doesn't make me any less professional. Sometimes you have to make those shortcuts in order for things to work out in the other areas with a new business. I guess I have to start from the begining and work my way up instead of starting right at the top!
