Hello gents. Could someone answer the question.

What does it means when some mix formulas say 40:1
0r 4:1.
Is this 4oz to 1 gal?

What is the unloader valve that I see in the BB?

Damn Cody,

I was just asking a question. I am new to this PW but am researching to learn. No harm in that is it? So much for no question is a Dumb question here.HUH.

I think this could be a great side gig and I am looking a all questions that I may have some concerns with.

Thanks DAN.S for the followup post.

Degraff,
Yeah, Cody is one of the less helpful around here. I find it easier to just give someone the answer, or steer them to the answer than to throw in unappreciated comments.

You'll find a plethora of information if you use the search function this board has available. Probably every question you have has already been answered many times over. If you don't find what you need in the search, feel free to ask.

"He seem to have a negative vibe about hisself. "

<font color=e87400>That should be "seems" & I don't believe that "hisself" is even a word.

Citric Acid is my chem... But I do do an overkill when it comes to using chems. 6 to 1 becomes 1 to 0 many times over.

If I have tire tracks or dirt, I rinse the area off throw some crystallized Citric Acid on the surface and scrub it. Rinse it off and whala, ding! Taken care of.

I have also put the citric in a sprayer of water, which works OK for about an hour, but citric doesn't work well with metal, so I just disperse it with my bare hand, LOL!!

So people don't flip, I put citric in a bucket of water, about a gallon of water with a little to much citric and walk around touching up the rust, tire marks, and dirt marks with my bare hand and a scrub brush. This way I am letting anyone who may be taking any pictures know it is harmless.

DeGraff,
There are quite a few wise as_es on this board. Try to ignore !!! Many of them spend more time typing than washing !!!! Don't let them discourage you. Keep asking and someone will respond.

DeGraff, When figuring ratio there needs to be the same measuring unit on each side of the equation . 40:1 means 40 gals to 1 gal or 40 ozs to 1 ozs or 40 barrels to 1 barrel. Get the picture.
Your question is 4:1 meaning 4 ozs to 1 gal,
no dissimular measurement units.
4 ozs to 1 gal would be 32:1
Change gallons to ounces. 128 ozs to 1 gal
128 devided by 4 = 32
Thus 32:1

Clear as mud...... now go wash something.

I found the cockerbur before I set on it,I'll try to keep this short.

DeGraff before you judge others by what someone else says, you need to do a search on the member/s.Even tho some on this board looks up on others as being as_es or not right in the head doesn't mean they cann't help you in some way or the other.

Sometimes you'll get a rude answer, that doean't mean they can eat you nor does it mean your stupid. Some are able to help more than others as they have nothing better to do but type out a answer whether its right or wrong.

Read the rules and enjoy the board, alot of different type people on the board so don't be shocked on some of the answers.

Main thing,Knowledge in cleaning is what your after.
