I read on another board where someone was using this product to clean rsidential/commercial.They said they mixed it with water but didn't give any details.I would think you would ad some soap(dawn/ect) or maybe I am wrong.
Does anyone here use it and if so how did the job turn out?

Simple Green is a soap.No need to add more to the mix.We have used a commercial type that worked great for housewashes.A 5 gallon mix consists of 1 gallon simple green,2 gallons of 10% chlorine and the rest water.Xjet it on and watch the mold and mildew melt away.Just remember to pre-wet plants before, rinse during and rinse after.

Squirtgun, I forgot. What would be the pros and cons of an x-jet. I do alot of housewashing now and have invested in and 18 and 24' extendawands. But that thing gets pretty heavy after about and hour into the jobs. I wonder if spending another $150-200 bucks is going to decrease my job time. Any advise you can give I would appreciate it. Hey do you mind letting me tag along for free labor. Just to get a better knowledge of the techniques?

Xjet and housewash...

degraffreed,
We use RPC citracleen from Steve Rowlett, and have used his version of simple green. They both do a great job of cleaning, with the mix I mentioned.
The Xjet cut our housewash time in 1/3 or more.We cleaned a 2 story house last week(2800 sq ft) it took us about 2 hrs. This included mildew removal from the deck and spindles. It is $159 well spent,I feel that the chemicals we get from Steve have a lot to do with how fast housewashes go for us.
The Pro's are it applies chemicals quickly, shoots them high and you can use it to rinse.Con's ...ummm I haven't found any for the applications we use it for.
We are located east of Albany,Ga.I'll be glad to try and help anyway I can.

For those that use an "X-Jet" or similar type device to clean houses....

How do you properly apply soap and rinse from the ground while not forcing water up and under the vinyl siding? If you are doing a 2 story house in 2 hours , what does this include? Blowing out the gutters? Scrubbing the gutters? or just the siding on the house?

I'm not critisizing anyone just trying to learn . We charge much more then that however it takes us about 4 hours to do a house that size but our price includes cleaning out the gutters in/out.

We tried using an X-Jet type set up and found that it was useless for trying to clean with.

It works great with half bleach and half water with a cup of liquid soap in a 5 gallon bucket. Don't use any of those filters it comes with. Get that solution on the house then rinse with a zero tip drilled out a bit.

The above works great in warmer climates for dirt and mildew. The home will look new again. No need to buy those expensive chemicals from Steve, when all you need is bleach, water, soap. and a de greaser. % or ten bucks will make a home look new again. Cleaner with less effort using this method.

Then we use a degrease and a soft brush on a pole to clean the gutters like new. Dip scrub just a little and rinse. If I have time later I will find a few pictures and post them.

I think you misunderstood, the $159 is what we paid for our Xjet, not what we got for this particular housewash. We get much more for a housewash for the size house I mentioned above.
We rarely see gutters here, only 2 homes since going full time last year.If they are present they are cleaned on the outside(included in the housewash).Cleaning the inside is an additional charge.
I think when using the Xjet to apply chems or rinse it take some practice to get it to work for each individual. We step back about 15ft from siding and work away from the seams on vinyl and have no problems with blowing water under siding or knocking it off.
