OK so I got this Kodak flip camera for christmas. Problem is it takes about 30-45 minutes to upload a video to FB or You Tube. I am using the software that came with the camera from Kodak, ArcSoft Media Impression.

Is there something else out there that I can load them to directly and bypass the Kodak Software or could it just be my computer is slow??????

Jim Cooney, you be the video king. any suggestions, as well as anyone else.

Speakeasy - Speed Test

Download Speed: 175531 kbps (21941.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 3770 kbps (471.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

and yet another test:
Last Result:
Download Speed: 22479 kbps (2809.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 3682 kbps (460.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Your upload speed determines how fast you can upload that video. :)

I have no experience with the Flip camera. I have used Kodak software before, and liked it, but not for uploading to YouTube or FaceBook. I've read some great reviews about the Flip camera.

Maybe your Internet connection ? Upgrade the software that came with your Flip camera to the newest version ? Maybe a Google search regarding slow uploads Flip camera ???

Upload time, is it really this slow? - Flip Community

I swear by my PhotoBucket Pro account. So simple even a caveman like me can use it (sorry Geico). Direct uploads to FaceBook.
