Just a quick question? How much were you paying for a gallon of gas when Hillary Clinton was President?

Truly, the only thing clinton didn't screw up was 8 years of Reagan tax cuts set America humming.
Bush 41 didn't destroy it and 8 years of that miscreant and Bill didn't ruin it either. Bush 43's tax cuts had the same effect.

On one hand, the Japs attack Pearl Harbor, a military base and killed 1700 American souls. We go to war and kill the enemy.

Yet....an attack on 3000 civilians by radical Islam is shoved under the rug by the Left....and you wanna talk about fuel prices when the defense of our nation when everything we float fly or drive runs on oil? Bush's mistake? ....no shock...no awe.

You wanna bitch at somebody for screwing up America...blame the Left.
You name a problem and I'll show you a Liberal is, was or is currently causing it.

The goal? Bring down America.

? But! The republican party is more of a big business friend than a small business friend.

Yeah....and the Liberals keep the Blacks pissed, the poor ignorant and the take money from those that produce and inspire the recipients to new levels of uselessness.

If you want a nation of vitality....abandon the minimum wage, pull the plug on welfare, end government programs not called out for in the constitution, and turn Americans loose to do what we do best: Design and build innovative stuff the world wants.

You talk about big business like it's an enemy.
profit and companies making money is what it is all about. It is not evil.
Business has been taking it overseas because of the damn liberals taxing anything that moves....and our liberal courts are taxing big business in the court system.

Can't wait for a rich vs poor argument on taxes.

Well for those that support Bush, I wish them well, Unfortunately, if you look at sentiment and polls of the american people nationwide, Bush supporters are getting scarcer everyday.

You contimue to give great reasons why he is doing a great job, but the majority of America doesnt see it that way.

Monday I was one of only 4 protestors at a rally of about 4000 immigrants rallying for legalization and amnesty. Was interviewed by the news channel and putting my Business in the spotlight and probably under scrutiny. I really don't care if I lose business. At least I did something and not just sit back and allow things to just happen and speculate as to who is at fault that the economy is crappy. I spoke against not only illegals here working but also against those that hire them and lower our wages by using the cheap labor.

There are so many factors as to why we pay more at the pumps, why we pay more for a gallon of milk, why it is harder to get what we are worth as business owners from our clients, why our country is so divided. Not just one person can be blamed nor 2 people or even 100 or all of congress. Not just Democrats not just the Republicans. Not the poor nor the rich.

What do I do when I want a higher wage? I refuse to work for any less. Minimum wage is a minimum wage due to the fact bthat bthere are people that are willing to work for that wage. If people would stand for what they believe, that wage would be forced upward.

Want to blame someone for the economy? Blame your neighbor that pays an illegal $20 to mow his lawn. Is it the lowballers fault or is it the fault of the person that hired them?

Is there an answer? Probably not one fix-it-all, but I'm sure that there are certainly small things that as a whole we could do. It won't happen until everyone realizes that there is no "I" in team.

Poor hate the rich. Rich wishes poor would better understand economics. Liberals want to give handouts. Conservatives say earn your way. Who's right? Who's wrong?

I am going to assume that most of us own and operate our own businesses because we want to be financially stable or even rich. Knowing this about myself, I know exactly how I would respond to a congress, politician, President, lawmaker etc.... that wanted to tax me more just because I make a little more and provide a service and provide a job to someone. I would respond by first laying off an employee. (this causes unemployment) Then I would raise my rates as I need to pay that tax somehow. (this causes inflation) This is why taxing the rich or the business owners only causes negative effects. Am I to tell my daughter that she has to take her Mercedes back? Tell my wife to return the Volvo? Move out of a safe neighborhood to a lesser property to afford that extra tax? I think not. I will simply pass the extra expense on to the people that voted for the folks that make the law that says I must pay more tax just because I go out there and start a business that provides services and creates jobs.

Simple Economics.

Ahhh screw it..... We could sit here all day but then no work would get done. I guess what I began to say is don't just talk about it. DO something. Refuse to work for less than your worth. Stand up against the lowballers and illegals and the guy that isn't properly licensed and most of all those that hire them and those that vote for silly taxes that don't do anybody any justice.

Fuel costs too much. Pass the cost on to the folks that sit back and complain while we go out and work and provide a boost to the economy. Maybe they will realize after a while that sitting around complaining is't going to change a thing.

Just like what I type here.... Changes nothing...

Bye guys, gotta work for that Mercedes Payment....

Cody, I've grown bored with this as I knew I would. There's simply no end to it. You have your opinion, I have mine, and neither is likely to change. This will be my last post in this thread. Good day,
Randy
p.s. You'll probably say I don't have the stones to respond to your last post. That's ok, too. Everyone else who read our posts have likely formed an opinion (if they didn't already have one), and it, too, is unlikely to change. This is just boring. Later.

Popularity is not the definition of doing the right thing.
Being a president is doing the right thing despite the polls.

You are judging Bush...like all liberals by sticking your finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing.

The liberal mainstream wants Bush gone....not for the right reasons but for political power. Yet the left is losing on nearly every front as they stand for nothing because they cannot sell their real agenda. What they do very well is cause death by a 1000 cuts...and that is the battle being waged.

We have a very real and deadly enemy in radical Islam.
The American Left is aiding this enemy and preventing Bush and our military from defending our nation.

The liberal left in America is a disgrace.....and will be the cause of many innocent American citizen deaths or even an end to our way of life if these death and mayhem loving wacko terrorists ever make good on their threats.

Good video, thanks Mark. Looks like the old man has been getting some speech coaching  A lot of people forget that it took 10 years for the US to pull out of Germany after WWII, and that country was being divided in to 3 sections. Too bad Bush won't be around once Iraq gets going, unfortunately we will probably have a Dem in office next term who will take all the credit, just like GW had to take all the blame for 911.

BTW I have a brother who just got back from Afganistan and a cousin in Iraq right now, both of them say the same thing; for the most part the people are very happy that we are there and there are a lot of great things happening that don't seem to make it to our news reports.

A firefighter

I have volunteerd my time for almost 15 years to protect my community as a firefighter/EMT. (who's main station almost had a terrorist drive within 300' carrying bomb making supplies, but was stopped by a border guard)
I may not be A full time paid firefighter, but I am on scene and do the same things. At many times, thats all we have. so I feel qualified in saying

KATRINA
protecting our country???????
Are you #$^&*$#ing me??

This was absolute, unmitigated gross incompetence. they had years to get homeland security together. It Failed Utterly blame the NO mayor, blame the LA gov't fine- but a multi state disaster is a federal problem.
If those idiots can't handle a disaster They were told was coming. They knew----
WHEN it was coming 5+ days ahead of time
where it was coming
what it was.

They have no hope of responding to
a mass bombing
a dirty bomb
a bio-terrorist incident
an intentional chemical release
or an earthquake.
where you get no warning whatsoever

Just how in the heck is this guy protecting the country? :burn:

Lack of Leadership

The hurricane was not GWB's Fault.
But As the agency responsible for protecting our country, created by his admin. DHS proved itself to be to be as effective as a slice of cheese.
Then Bush is off on a fundraising trip.
They had DAYS of notice! when do you ever have this?
He Gutted FEMA.

I think you answered your own question:

"I have volenteered my time for almost 15 years to protect my community as a firefighter/EMT. (who's main station almost had a terrorist drive within 300' carrying bomb making supplies, but was stopped by a border guard)"

Fox is too liberal for most conservative minded people but it does have a slightly more realisitic point of view. ALL of the others are WAY out there. That is why you only have one new network you don't like.
As for the newspapers...Our Oregonian buried the Al Zarqawi story on page 11 and put a slanted eco story on page 1, how is that better news?

I volunteerd MY time.
I was asking how GWB says he is protecting the country in light of what I said

....By your logic, I'll await your lavish praise of President Bush for making sure that bomb stayed 300' away instead of going 3' up your ...hole. Since he/admin is solely responsible for Katrina aftermath, I suppose he/admin is also solely responsible for saving your life.

I did not say solely responsible. I am allways supportive of extra training and manpower given to those on the Ground. If any GWB program was responsible for this border guard's performance then both she and the administration need commnendation. He was not caught by an organized effort. But rather one woman who paid attention. You have not delt with the fact that GWB's suposed #1 quality (protecting the country) turned out to be an unmitigated Mongolian Cluster @#!#@ t.

Tell me why this is OK

asbestos--

...There are lots of people in between the left and right coast who are faaaaar to the right of your beloved FOX NEWS. Personally, I am extremely fiscally conservative, lean far conservative on protecting the country, morally moderate/conservative, lean liberal on enviro/animals, lib on death penalty. Heck, I was sad to see the dead pics of Zarq. Up to the moment of his death, I'd have preferred to see him repent. I am always tickled to see stuff on TV/news with people in Cali, etc., and I think a lot of the people in the middle of the country are even more conservative than they think. Lots of us angry white males:)
