Sparked a newbee thought

After reading an earlier post and answer on the thought of "use what you have", I wanted to commment from my perspective. Our first several months in the biz was a frantic learning of how and what to use to clean. We purchased all kinds of equipment and chems and found this to be so true in "use what works and stick with it". Everyone is out there claiming "theirs" is the best, easiest, fastest etc. My advice is to do your research. Learn from the folks on this board what works for them. Before putting up your money for something that will sit on your rig always ask yourself is this worth the investment. I have found several pieces of equipment I could not do without.
1. Dual Wand
2. Extension Wand
3. X-Jet
4. Extension Pole with various brushes
5. Quality water hose
6. Quality pressure hose
7. Quick Connects
There are others but you always stick with the necessities. What are yours?
There is the question of chemicals also. We have cleaned numerous surfaces and found what works best for us and we stick with it. The claims out there are outragious for some. Be careful. Some of the basic chems for us are:
1. Bleach
2. Tide
3. Gutter Zap
4. Wax
5. Then specifics like acids and stains
Well, hope I did not ramble too much. Thanks to all of you for all of your help and encouragement.

Just remember to use whatever YOU like the best. The chems and equipment that you use along with your own special touch on each job sets you apart from everyone else in the industry. You can get ideas from eveyone else, but to be better than everyone, fine tune those "ideas" to what works for you.
....and about the beer... I would rather have some vodka.(candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker). Of course that was a while back, I work to dang hard for fun anymore!!
