Stains on new Deck (1year old)

Guys. Power washed a house and patio last year. The customer wanted me to power wash the deck too but it was brand new. It was made out of threaded wood. I told them the deck needed to sit for a season or so to get the chemicals from the threaded wood out. To me it makes no sense to power wash a brand new deck. But anyway next week I am going back to this house to power wash the deck. Usually what I do is use low pressure 1000-1500 psi with a deck brightner. I don't have a hot water machine, but if my business grews enough I will get one. I then seal a few days to a week later. Since new the deck now has stains on it from the leaves that fell there and sat on top the deck. I don't know if the power washer alone is going to take off the stains.
So I have two questions:
1. What will take off these stains? Chemicals or techinques?
2. What do you guys thing of my method of washing decks? I am open to any advice.
Thanks Guys
Brian
