what's up Chuck,

Just go buy some powder-form oxalic acid. I buy it at a chem. plant here in Nashville for about $35 per 55# bag. I mix it about 24oz. to a bucket. I buy about 5 bags at a time, and spend some time filling 1gal. freezer bags with the appropriate amount. I have a couple Rubbermaid plastic boxes in my trailer and I fill them with these packages. That way, you don't have to do any measuring on the job. It also helps out with those employees that are having trouble grasping directions. Using straight oxalic acid does not do as good of a job as, say, Readyseal's brightener, but it is close enough. No need to buy pricey pre-mixed chems, just buy them in bags at your local chem. house.

I too have switched to citric acid, from oxalic due to potential health risks associated with the oxalic.

We use (and carry) citrolic acid which is a 50/50 blend of the two mentioned above. It's a little less deadly, and has a little more punch that straight citric. Does a good job.

I use both citric and oxalic and a 50 50 mixture.

Oxalic Acid does such a better job and is cheaper. I also spray it on concrete without rinsing - really whitens the concrete.

The citrolic that beth speaks of is great stuff. Can be use for a variety of applications. I use it and also use either rpc brightner or sunbrites brightner. Both are oxalic based and don't have to be rinsed after application. I use readyseal and rs loves an acidic deck. So rinsing is not an issue.

my 2 cents worth. But getting back to the original post, contact beth or russ or sunbrite or Rowlette or timberseal. All offer great products and are priced competitivley (?sp) idt's your choice to use what best fits your needs.
