Upstream vs. Downstream for house cleaning.

I know most of you here along with myself use down stream injection for dispersing cleaning solutions on a house but I may try upstream injection on a vinyl side house I have to clean Wednesday.
Let me explain why I may try this. I believe in using hot water to clean vinyl and aluminum houses along with a mixture of chlorine, jomax, house detergent and water because this way I can clean faster. Some here may disagree about using hot water on this type of siding but do to my experiences over the years hot water seams to do a better job at a faster rate which of course means more money per hour.
The reason why I may try upstream injection because this way My mixture will also be hot when it hits the house and that may increase my cleaning time once again.
Of course before I do this I put this question to the WIZ about if my mixture will hurt my pump and other internal parts to my PW and if it is to damaging then I will reconsider.
Does anyone use upstream injection to clean houses and do you reccommend it?
Thanks -John-

I have never used upstream........but offhand, it doesnt sound like the cleaners you are talking about would hurt your pump.

An X-jet would allow you to do the same thing.........use it with the hot water on, and the water you inject onto the home with your cleaners would be hot........ I only run water thru my pumps.....

John,
I have 250 ft. of hose and sometimes I may be that far from the machine on a house washing job. Sometimes even on a roof cleaning dormers, etc. I don't upstream #1 because of chemicals going through the pump, #2 because I turn my soap on and off with the soap nozzle. I would walk myself to death going back and forth to the pump to turn the soap on and off. If you have a long hose run and like the upstream after you try it the I would strongly recommend the radio link equipment at the top of this page. I know that soap is good for the pump, but house washing solutions meaning caustic based, or clorox and bleach as you mentioned you use will harm the pump. To each his own I guess. Sometimes labor saved will out weigh more frequent pump replacements, go figure.
