upstream without hose surplus

Hey fellas slowly working out the two step.

i guess i am trying to get beyond the surplus in the lines of acid when downstreaming. when i turn to full pressure i get an unknow ammount of acid still coming through the lines. is there any way of combating this problem. i though maybe a colouring agent so its say red when theres acid and clear when its just water?

i though i might be able to use my foamer as a way upstream injector. my foamer has an adjustable flow and i dont think it has to foam to work.

any insight will be great..

You could get a dye that you could add like you mentioned, or you could get a downstream system where you would make your changes right at the gun so you wouldn't have to worry about the lag time that you're currently experiencing.
