Hello everyone. [hello] My name is James Honaker. I live in Greer,SC. I am just getting started in the business. I have an Excell 3700 with a 13 HP Honda GX and a General Pump with only 50ft. of pressure hose. I also have a 5ft. extension wand, the standard tips, and a water broom. Does an extension on your standard wand with QC's hold up well? My biggest concern is what type of chemicals to use to make the job go faster. It seems in my area everyone gets thier chemicals from SoCar (local). I am going to be doing mainly residential homes, driveways, gutters, and porches. I will be doing some new construction jobs under a seosoned vet. I am going to stay away from decks for now, unless they only want a cleaning. My next concern is estimating of jobs, but i've been trying to talk with other local washers for that. It seems in my area all the washers are fairly overloaded with jobs and are willing to help me get started.

There is a guy that I work with at Lockheed Martin, he been in the business for about ten years. He's got a ton of work and just got transkered to dayshift, which means that he can't do alot of his pressure cleaning now. I am going to be able to work under him for awhile. I won't get paid much, but the experience will be priceless.

Good deal learn and listen to what he has to say and take notes.
