Wax after house washing

We've used both waxes offered by E'spec and they work well.
Also found one offered thru chempact (1-800-925-8958)called final coat house wax that seems to work just as well and is more economical. We use around 2qts. per 5 gal. water and apply with xjet 2:1. Water will sheet off house almost instantly, and this also helps with window spotting previously discussed.

Mike,
I use it on occasion. It's a good ad on for you house wash services. I mostly use it on Singlewide mobile homes and RV's.

When I present a quote for a house or mobile home wash, I include wax application. The customer usually views it as something 'extra' he is getting. Most other companies in my area don't seem to offer wax, so, if all else appears equal, it often sways customers to sign up with me. A small but effective tool, it only costs me a couple bucks per application.

<b><font color=green>Mike I've always used wax, started with it want do without it as Aplus says its a effective little tool.I apply the wax free b/c I'm higher in price.
I have tried many many different waxes as to the chemicals I now use.I do not like the beading waxes,I like the sheeting wax best.
In my search for the sheeting wax I only found one what I call a true sheeter,it also had a ok shine.I have used some that beaded so bad they where harder to wash b/c the soap beaded up to much :D.The one I use now sorta sheets and beads depends on how you apply but still beads some, more so if applied hot.The only time I didn't use it was if they where going to paint then it was hard to rem'ber to not use wax.It is the cheapest chemical you can buy for your money as in cost to apply.Depends but it really doesn't cost that much not even the couple of bucks depends but its more like peanuts :D,,Zep makes a good wax also.

Mike,

I did offer it to customers myself but found that it really didn't make a considerable differance. I used env$#**&%c wax also. Got some left it if you want it for the job.

<b><font color=green>The only reason I'm bringing the wax back up is b/c of the thumbs down,,I do not offer it,,,I apply it free for my benefit not theirs. It is one spray on chemical that alot of you don't understand its benefits nomatter if its flatwork,homes,ect..Its like any other spray on chemical you have to learn how to use it and how to apply it.For what it does its one of the cheapest chemicals you can apply to your job to make it easier the next time you wash it,saving you money the next time its washed. It also high lites your job if done right,,,,but I hope alot of you never learn how to use it b/c it makes my wash look better than yours even if yours is cleaner.I see alot of cars and trucks what people give thumbs down to also on wax, don't you,Wouldn't they look better with a nickles worth of spray on wax was applied each time it was washed, same goes for anything you wash. The nickles will bring in more dallors after they learn you are appling wax for free b/c they know they will atleast get alittle shine and protection out of the deal,,but again I hope ya'll say away from this chemical b/c of its danger.

The liquid glass I applied to the show trucks you can wipe the bugs off with a rag and spot be gone, good stuff. There are alot of different waxes out there and each as its own lasting and protection thing as any chemical does.

We advertise that we apply a hot wax treatment to the home after each wash. Works great! People don't think that their home can be waxed. All we do is use the liquid concentrated wax and apply it with the dual wand using hot water and do a light rinse with cold water. The smell is like a freshly waxed car. The customers love it.
