not too much caffine and watch the intake of gatorade (lots of sugar)....water is the best all around fluid but dont wait until you are thirsty to drink... stay hydrated

A good rule of thumb to determine if you are consuming enough liquids is how frequently you urinate. If you are consuming enough you should be going about every 2 hrs.

Oh yeah,we have only done asphalt shingles to date.

Everything is asphalt here with a bit of ProPanel but ashpalt is what gets moldy here in the steamy south.

yep, we do

actually it's called sodium hypochlorite but some people like to call it chlorine. you'll need to dilute it with water. i prefer 2 to 1 while some people like 1 to 1 for a standard stained roof. i like it a little weak to protect the plants in case i get a little sloppy up there. and...some people use plain ole' bleach which contains about 6% of the sodium hypochlorite.

good luck,

My question to the forum is if you use, say, Powerhouse/bleach/water combo with an Xjet, is that sufficient to get most gunk off without the need to be on the roof itself? I ask because the pitch of most townhomes around here are a bit insane and I'm not about to risk my neck.

Anyone?

fibercement roofs

hi, i live in Honduras and 70 % of the roofs here are fibercement . if you havent seen them they are not very solid or strong. so the best way to clean them (should be) is not to stand on the roof.

right now we are low pressurewashing ,standing on the roof.

do any of you know if there is any other way to clean this kind of roof ?

yes but you dont need to cut it and the downstream ,with an x jet your mixture will be determined by the gpm of your washer, but you need to add a good soap to the mixture for a surfactant(helps it stick and not runn off as fast)
