30" Steel Eagle Bar Replacements?????????

I was just thinking there has to a cheaper way to keep replacing the bars on my Steel Eagle. I have employees who "kill" them on a regular basis. I am sick of spending a hundred bucks every time they get a little bent. I would like to make my own but not sure where to buy the stuff. (Stainless steel pipe that small and compression fittings that can take up to 4000psi)
Has anyone ever tried a little heavier pipe on theirs? I would not even mind it if they where around 25 or 30 bucks but $50.00 COME ON. Thats a RIP off!!!!!!!! Any comments would be appreciated!! Thanks Jaime

Jaime if you only pay $50 then your getting them at a good price.

I have the 28" Bigguy and just got a replacement in case I snap another reducer off out in the field, my cost $75.

Still think you're getting ripped off?

Do you know a machine shop in your area? They might be able to make you a dozen at a great price but be sure to take one with so they can see just what it is.

Don't forget to add in the cost of nozzles and a reducer. (the part that attaches underneath from the bar to the machine.

Why not check with other distrubitors, ask for a discount too.

You might be able to have your local tube fabrication shop custom make them for you. I have a friend in the business and he helped me make me a set for the surface cleaner I built. Check your local yellow pages under tube fabrication.

Yeah What Jon said,, I have my spray bars fabricated at a machine shop. One type (a single bar sys)they make for $30.00 and the other the 2 bar sys they cut and die the pipes for $9.00 each (Both types are Stainless) The 2 bar I furnise the tee and elbos, but that's only a few bucks. It's a helluva lot cheaper than the manufacturer stuff.
