We can all learn a lesson from this one. Make sure the other person knows how much we expect to get. Just because we are friends doesn't mean we work cheap. If they were a Doctor do you think they would remove your gallstones for a lower price just because they know you? NOT!

You do not need to justify anything to me!

All I am trying to do is to make a point.

The point being was that my FRIST (ever) bid on a job blew up in my face because someone bid it WRONG! When all was said & done the woman came back and wanted me to fix the mess! You know why? Because I am 110% business - and approach everything as a business. Don't get me wrong - I believe in give some customers a perk or two! I always reiterate the point that I would appreciate all referrals from this customer - and not to tell anyone that I have done that job for such a LOW price.

As far as my comments I ONLY say what I see or believe is a point to consider.
I don't pussy foot around - and I expect the same in return.

I am not trying to hurt you - I am hoping you may get something from my way of see the situation.

If you don't "OH WELL"!

Or, people get bothered when we sometimes jump to conclusions. It's all subjective. It's like I heard a while back, when someone says, "I'm being brutally honest", sometimes they savor the 'brutal' more than they do the 'honest'. I have no specific opinion in this matter, but thought back to that lecture I heard a while back and figured I'd share it with the class.
