What areas on a tractor/trailer would you NOT want to get any HF on? Also, is it good for heavy equipment, such as dozers, cranes, backhoes?

I am getting quite sick of your attitude towards our suggestions. Why must you make a wiseass comments to everyone of our post. I have been plenty helpful to many people on this board and all you post are comments that discredit us. If you have nothing pertinent to say then keep your comments to yourself !!! I am certain as a "MOD" you will also edit this to disguise the truth..

disguise the truth..lol,it seems I wouldn't know the truth if it jumped and bite me.

Okay, I exaggerated, but the stuff has been repeatedly documented to be hazardous to your health. Just like anything, there is a place for it, but you have to know how to use it. Also, you do need to neutralize it before finishing the wash to minimize the hazard. I just do not want someone going to wash trucks that has absolutely no knowledge about the chem, and go out and hurt himself, or someone else. So I always say, and always will say that it is too dangerous to use, especially for a newbie.

Austin,
You can call me on the phone numbers listed below, or e-mail me if you want to talk. I would PM you except Dan has that part of the soft ware locked down.
My E-mail is the-washer@msn.com
I will be somewhat accessible until about 12 tonight, Arizona time.

If the truck is dirty enough to 2 step I use HF on any and all colors and surfaces and it works like a dream everytime. If you use it on whites and aluminum only, good for you, but you could be using it more. Hope you're not brushing too much.

I do not want to play your game.
I will refuse to answer any of your questions.

It wasn't my game and it seems you cann't answer none of my Q'tions, how come, they are not what hard to answer.

I see tho coastal Eddie knows that HF can be used on most surfaces, maybe you need to ask him how to use HF.I not only use it on all colors I even use it on stainless steel trailers.

You may learn from your/my games if you want to learn that is or you can stay above me,doesn't make me any differents.

I even see other games you are playing!!!!!!do you get a percentage.

Are there mods moderating the mods??? THIS is exactly why I use this board as a LAST resort when looking for information! Pathetic, really!

It's like a referee taking a bite out of a boxer's ear, rather than another boxer doing it. Totally inappropriate!

You need to undestand that there are many different views on the proper way to wash a truck, deck or house. That is part of the reason that we have access to these boards. Some people swear by acid for trucks, otehrs use only on aluminum, and still others refuse to use it anywhere. Hopefully, the people involved in the discussion will make their point and try to understand the point of view of others. I know that some guys like Coastal Eddie, and Bigboy use Acid on anything, and everything, but I would bet their dilution is really weak so as not to minimize the reaction with whatever it is they are spraying it on. Ideally, with any chemical, you want touse the minimum amount to get whatever grime you are trying to get off, off. Anymore is just waste. They may have it dialed in more, or do all of their own work so that they can predict the results, versus letting employees do the work and risk that they will follow instructions.

For those interested in the Calcium Gluconate Gel
It sells for $31.95

My brother Dale almost lost his fingers from what seemed a simple nossel change at the time. Later he was transported to University of Michigan's burn center.

Be careful

2-Stepping is really the only way I know of to get a truck clean. Our trucks are bright and clean when we are done and if you don't two-step, you don't come close.

It someone out there thinks differently, I would love to get a sample of what they use. There is no comparison though.

The guys that did not 2-step, well, I put them out of business in Michigan. That's the way it goes. Other states may be different but in Michigan, 2-stepping is a must to get stuff good and clean and shiny.

Does this mean everything in Michigan is white and shiny, less not get off the subject and start picking on the Mods when they ask you to explain why only on white and aluminum.I know I know its easier to jump on a mod than it is to explain yourself as to why.I really thought white was a color just like red, black, green, blue and YELLER.

Yeah aren't these boards something else,on one board you have a guy telling everybody acid eats paint after two years of use the same truck and on another board someone telling everybody to use it on white and aluminum only. But you let a Mod speakout on they are wrong and the first thing they want to do is try running the Mod down, its no wonder the newbee's have a hard time and it comes from people who say if you want solid professional help call me.Anyway if Gwas cann't answer the Q'tion why only on white and aluminim he may have gotten bad advice from someone on another board OR......pick on a Mod if you cann't back up what you say.

Sorry, Mark, I stopped giving a crap about the NHL after the Wings CHOKED!

As for moving on, well...it would be much easier to move on if CERTAIN moderators would STOP instigating and START moderating.

Who is jumping on mods for asking questions?!?! IT is the WAY the "question" is posed that causes all this conflict. It is argumentative and confrontational (and , GREEN to boot). If it isn't intended to sound that way, which I highly doubt is the case, then learn some keyboard ettiquette or STAY AWAY from the keyboard!

yeah wab it up and throw it in the trash, dat the easiest way if you do not know the answers. If certain people didn't think none of us knew nothing you couldn't see post like mine but then again I know the differents if its rainning on my leg.

It is argumentative and confrontational (and , GREEN to boot). ,,,

yes and If I think your telling someone something thats wrong I'm going to ask you in certain ways to explain yourself if you have older post that conflicks. It may not be the best way but its the best way to see if you really do know what your talking about,he didn't did he.

moving on...................
