I doesn't matter to me... I took this picture for conversation and possibly to use as a sales gimmick.
Look at the second picture with the water working its way to the storm drain 20' from there... The question is: Code Enforcement is still out and about and it is nice and bright outside, isn't this like saying to them, "in your face Code Enforcement!"
I took the picture from my back yard right out in the open...
Also, this is the forth P/W to work in this one little spot. What would that mean to you?
To me it means that they are causing the "market" to be to flooded with lowballers for us because they aren't paying full price, they just accept the person that comes in and will do a dumpster pad for $25.
Why not bust the manager for allowing this to happen? They are the ones responsible to pay a fine as well for alowing this to happen. Maybe after a few thousand dollar fines and the other business owners hearing about it, a ledgit company can come through and charge what the job is really worth.
As for taking pictures, anyone can take pictures of the work I do, it would be a badge of honor, because I know I do it right.
I know the fire dept around here goes around and takes pictures of P/Ws while they work; it is usally what they do before they nail you with a ticket.
If I can take this pic from my backyard, why wouldn't the Public Works Director be able to do the same? Beware of your surroundings...
By the way, the reason I know that the Public Works Director lives just up from me, is because I washed down his garage and flat work for him
"...Storm water requirements have been in place for a long time. Developers like Wal-Mart must share responsibility with their construction contractors to ensure compliance..." (Same applies to this situation)
