Need to give an estimate on cleaning a canvas awning.It is 16 X 50.One side is attached to the house while the other side is attached to approximate 8' high poles.I need to know the proper procedure for cleaning one.IE: what do you wash it with?do you wash it while it is still up or do you take it down first?What pressure should I use? How do you figure the price? Do you wash both sides?It has some mold on it so is bleach recommended.It is more dirty than moldy.Do you use an extention wand? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know diddly about awnings, but i do know a site on the net that has a lot of info. Will email it to you, but till then, i wouldn't throw any bleach on that canvas awning, it might do more bleaching than you want. Also, two issues ago in, uh, that cleaning magazine that most of us get (can't say the name or Dan will boot me) has an article with some info in it too.
