concrete sealer

I am washing the store front sidewalk of a building. I was trying to figure out what is the best sealer for the job. The concrete is the exposed aggregate. And is this gonna cause me trouble later when it comes to washing again and getting the gum off the surface. I know it would improve the looks as well as protecting it. I haven't applied any sealer before. I would like to see if any one else has tried this application before, if so it would be great hearing from you all. I am open too learn and i would very much appreciate it.

I here V Seal is a good sealer. I have a sample of it and it seems like it will do the job.

Watch out for sealants on walkways. They can change of color in concrete and create slip hazards. I personally don't think that for your application the cost per square foot adds up for any real savings in time or money. However, if your looking for a good coating for concrete try Garon Floor Solutions, ph 1-800-631-5380. They have some good stuff, have used them on many jobs.
