There are a lot of people out there that overuse the strength of the acid and or leave it on too long. That is the problem with 2 stepping. I see the same thing on fleets, the main thing is to learn the proper way to do it so as to not mess things up. I hear fleet owners say thing like, "your not gonna use an acid are you? I don't want my clearcoat and aluminum ruined." I simply explain the correct process to them and give them a demo. The thing I like aout using a 2 step the right way over brushing is I can clean the aluminum, wheels (aluminum, powder coated or stainless), frames, mudflaps etc. . that you could never entirely clean with soap and a brush.
The important second part is finishing with a good soap that will leave a shine.

And the best part, my shoulders and arms don't kill me at the end of the day.
