if i lived in alaska would i need to know what to do in the winter? really, it is always cold there so i would probably have that one under control. dont try to be so cute and either help out or dont waste my time. if you would rather respond like that instead of simply checking the member profile then please keep your cute jokes to yourself. it really wouldnt matter if i was in peru or canada, my question was one that was very general and basic. if it freezes or is just a real cold winter, what kind of work can one find?

I think your first Q'tion got answered fairly will, your second Q'tion is a different story,,,,kind of work. We're not mind readers altho somethink they are :D,click on my profile and see why the Q'tion where do live came from.

All types of work can be done in the winter in my area, depends on the type day, sun, wind playes a big part in when and what you can wash tho.We have no ideal tho what type winter you have because we don't know where you live, click on a profile to see for yourself.Add your location and we can help more in what you can wash in the ice.

ice

Whats that? Last winter it only got down to freezing for less than 7 days , and this was only at night. So no sustained freezing weather. Now dont get me wrong it felt cold. 40 deg with 80 - 90 % humidity feels cold. I think it only stayed freezing or below for maybe 24 hrs in one stretch, sleet storm. We get sleet here which makes hard to travel around. Got to watch out for those other idiots on the road. Our backup plan is to just put the work off for a few days, them play catch up.
I grew up in a more seasonal climate, sure do miss 4 seasons.
In central texas we have Spring, Summer, Super Summer, Summer again, Fall ( a cooler version of summer) and winter ( 2 weeks ). Then it starts all over again.

Now, you warm blooded fellas have it easy. Last winter we couldn't even step outside Jan & Feb. :( No outdoor washing for us.

We're thankful for our indoor fleet accounts.

There are times it gets so cold that you can't even pull your rig out to drive to your account w/out the risk of freezing. (especially if your location is a distance from where you need to be).

Wish us luck this winter.

Please Mother Nature Please send that snow and ice South!!
