From a 14yr old

It was his Birthday yesterday and instead of reading Birthday cards with well written poems...he went to his room and wrote a poem for his nation.

And it read...

America's Giant

Untold numbers dead, a war is drawing near,
Many people injured, I can only shed a tear.
Soldiers are returning, to be sent right back again,
Screaming, moaning, weeping echoed all throughout the wind.

Mothers losing children, people losing lives.
Workers trapped in buildings, being forced to take their dives.
Damage unpredictable, rumors spread around.

Horrific sights of two large buildings, crashing to the ground.
Many people hurt, hospitals over-flow.
Awake o' Sleeping Giant, let America's power show!
The gateway is now open; the Nation shall unite,
You shall receive your battle, be ready for a fight.

Our morals grew larger, as people died before our eyes,
Just like old Pearl Harbor, you will pay with much demise.
You blew up what we cherished, out lives you have destroyed,
You shall regret your action, when our army is deployed.

So in this poem I tell you, you have made a big mistake.
Now, I can guarantee you, Our Giant Shall Awake.

What a great insight that person has. It needs to be sent to a national newspaper if it hasn't been yet. I will be submitting it to our media.

I wish I could have written like that when I was 14. I probably would be busting my &$# doing this.

Definitely should be in a publication somewhere.

That poem was sent to me by my friend Kevin who works at Diamler Chrysler's headquarters.

That building houses 15,000 employees and when we were under attack - they vacated that building ASAP. For fear that more attacks were coming to large high rise, heavly populated buildings.

I have e-mailed him for the author's name.
I'll keep you posted.

Yours in prayer.
